Classroom Rules
1. Be quiet and look when teacher is talking.
2. Listen and follow directions.
3. Keep hands and feet to yourself.
4. Show respect and be safe.
Discipline Plan
Children pull smiley face slips for breaking rules.
Always a verbal warning first.
Big Smiley Face = good day
Small Smiley Face = 5 minutes of recess
Small Sad Face = 10 minutes of recess
Big Sad Face = see Mrs. Pugh or Mrs. Tucker- call parent.
The slips start over with a Big Smiley Face every day.
A red folder is sent home every day for you to sign . Be sure to sign and return each day, make sure you look over and keep the daily papers. This folder is a place to document behavior, and also is used to bring daily papers home.
Positive Behavior Rewards
Each child will have a treasure box posted on the board. When the child is caught being good, they get a gold coin to add to their treasure chest. When the child gets 5 gold coins he/she can pick a prize from the Treasure Box. At the end of each day all the gold coins come down and it starts over the next day.
